Interview went well, they seemed very happy that my notice period is a week rather than a month (as they were expecting), which can only be taken as a good thing! Still not entirely sure why I was being interviewed by the CIO of the company (Chief Information Officer if you didn't know - usually next in line after the CEO)

Ill hear back Monday at the latest, fingers crossed!!!

Hey all! How are things?

I has SUCH a mindblowing experience this afternoon, I'm still excited looking back at it :-D

A few weeks ago I got bored (car had broken so I was a bit stuck there) and wandered into an Audi garage, just for something to pass the time. I got looking at an Amazing R8, their new supercar. Anyway, one of the salesmen came over and before I knew it I was pretending that I was looking to buy! (had to fudge my job details CONSIDERABLY before he stopped looking at me like I was some kind of nut!).

Anyway, went for the test drive after work today, and what an experience! How low and wide it is, you sit with your bum maybe 6 inches from the tarmac! And the NOISE. Truly gorgeous! But nothing, NOTHING compares to the speed of it! For reference, the fastest car I've ever driven was my parents old 2.5 jag (which weighs as much as a church). Swapping into a lightweight supercar with a 5 litre V8 is mindblowing!!! I was coming on to the A130, and the salesman told me to step on it, to feel what it was capable of. I was in second, doing about 20 when I stamped on the accelerator, I managed to spin the weels... All 4 of them!!!! In the time it would have taken my car to get to 40, I looked down and we were doing 120! GOD if I had that car my license would be gone in a matter of weeks!!! By the time we got back I was shaking, it was SUCH a thrill! I'm going to have to work harder... I need to be rich enough to buy that monster, and soon!

Anyway, apart from that things for me are being a bit up and down at the moment! Its strange, I was perfectly content with my job, and all seemed to be going fine until I was approached about a new one. And even though that fell through, now suddenly lots of little things are annoying me! BUT its not that bad, doing lots and lots of hours though, I've had maybe 2 days off in the last 2-3 weeks! Well, it makes my bank balance so much happier I suppose!

Had a bit of a strange day! Still not feeling great, most of the symptoms are ignorable, but I'm fatigued a lot of the time, which is a bit poop.

Had a strange conversation with Katie, we were talking about funerals (since I have man-flu and have mere hours left to live of course), and were describing how we wanted our own funerals to be like. Bit morbid I know, but I really like the idea of my own way out as being something personalised, not something dreary!

Anyway, after a few ideas I decided that if it were up to me, I would have me a brightly coloured funeral! Nobody (and i do mean NOBODY) will be allowed to wear black as a main colour, the brighter the better!!! I would want loud and totally irreverant music and a coffin painted with flames :-D! As for the people there I think I'd want anyone I've ever met (even if I didn't like them) to be there, I think the most important part would be my funeral as a good excuse to do some serious drinking :-)

I know its a strange thing to think about, but I actually find it quite a good image! (i'm just imagining my sister in day-glo pink ;-D)

I feel rough as hell! Don't know whats hit me today, this morning I was fine!

Spend most of the afternoon barfing up my lunch, and I've just woke up and it's dark outside! (last time I was aware it was 3 :-/)

I've managed to get sitting up (and geekily enough in reach of a computer ;-D) but getting to bed will be interesting, it feels like my limbs are made out of lead!

Ugh, bank holidays are fun :-)

Today has been very much un-good.

I really want to be cheerful, but its all starting to get to me a bit I think. I'm in such a variable mood, I went from almost uncontrollable giggling at the radio to 30 minutes later, almost in tears because I couldn't complete a fucking game of solitaire!!!

Things are all coming to a head I'm just overwhelmed at the moment, and I have precious little to hang on to. It feels like all I have is my guys, and Im so desperate to be my normal self around them I'm pissing myself off, how fucking WEAK. Why can't things screw up one at a time, is there always the need to gang up on me?

Rough patch, lifes a fucking bitch eh?

Come the end of May, it looks as if I'll be needing myself a new housemate to share the flat with (sir Christopher is moving in with Dave), which leaves me in a bit of a quandry. Do I look for a new housemate, or move into a 1-bed place?

This is the part I'll need your help on. The finding a new housemate option is much more preferable, so do you know anyone who is looking for a place to live in the Southend area? Rent is nice and cheap and the flat is really nice (most of you will have seen it anyway).
